The Second Trailer For Stephen King’s ‘IT’ Is Here To Scare The Living Hell Out Of You

Just in case the first trailer for the upcoming film about Stephen King’s scary-as-shit book IT didn’t frighten you enough, they went ahead and released another, even scarier one Sunday night.

This latest footage focuses more on the kids of Derry, AKA The Losers Club, because clowns scaring the shit out of kids is the best kind of nightmare fuel.

Something is living in the sewers and when the kids head out to investigate (because of course they do) they spot missing girl Betty Ripson’s shoe floating in the water, hear a laugh and spot a floating red balloon. Totally normal.

New Line Cinema’s horror thriller “IT,” directed by Andrés Muschietti (“Mama”), is based on the hugely popular Stephen King novel of the same name, which has been terrifying readers for decades.

When children begin to disappear in the town of Derry, Maine, a group of young kids are faced with their biggest fears when they square off against an evil clown named Pennywise, whose history of murder and violence dates back for centuries.

Here’s the first teaser in case you missed it and aren’t already sufficiently freaked out…

And here are some more clips from the movie’s official Instagram just to seal the deal (and your rectum)…

It hits theaters September 8, 2017.
