If you’re anything like me, you still find yourself sitting around late at night watching re-runs of, arguably, the great TV show in history, Seinfeld. And while hundreds of thousands of people still tune in each night to the fearsome foursome of Jerry, George, Elaine and Kramer, one event that the show never got to touch on was the devastating September 11 attacks in 2001—because it ended in 1998.

The terrorist attacks on that day are remembered as the biggest tragedy in U.S. history, and one that Americans will never forget. Yet, comedy writer Billy Domineau—who has written for Saturday Night Live, among others—put together a mock script of Seinfeld that shows what an episode about 9/11 might look like. It’s amazing.

As you might expect, the Internet’s reaction was one of applause and shock.

We did something similar with Sex And The City last year, so enjoy both of these two help remember one of the saddest days in U.S. history.
