The Situation From ‘Jersey Shore’ Indicted For Tax Fraud By His Favorite State

Think of all the good Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino has done for the state of New Jersey. He and the rest of the Jersey Shore gang are wholly responsible for putting the state back on the map after The Sopranos ended. And how does New Jersey repay him?

By indicting him for tax fraud.

According to indictment .. obtained by TMZ …  the U.S. Attorney in NJ claims Mike Sorrentino did not pay his full tax bill on $8.9 million in earnings.  In fact, prosecutors claim he intentionally filed fraudulent returns in order to make it appear he was square with the IRS.

The Situation’s’ brother, Marc, was also charged with conspiracy to commit tax fraud.

Whoa hey. I thought it was “Gym, Tan, Laundry” and not “Gym, Tan, Laundering.”

Both Sorrentino brothers are expected to surrender to authorities later today.

I think I speak for all of us when I say this needs to go to trial. Calling Snooki as a character witness would be one of the finer moments in our nation’s legal history.
