SNL: Larry David Returns As Bernie Sanders, Donald Trump Supporters Get Black Eye

Saturday Night Live opened their show welcoming back Larry Sanders, as well as poking fun of Donald Trump and Bernie Sanders supporters.

This week, former GOP presidential candidate Dr. Ben Carson announced that he was endorsing Trump. Which was a rather surprising development since back in November, Trump likened Carson to a pedophile.

SNL had a sketch featuring Darrell Hammond as Trump and Jay Pharaoh as Ben Carson, or “ebony and orangey.” However, soon after Carson left the stage he was attacked by Trump supporters who mistook him for a protester during the fake CNN broadcast. Carson would later return to the stage, tending to his black eye by putting a “very classy Trump steak” on his black eye as Donald lambasted his supporters, “Guys what did I say? Not this one. This is one of the good ones.” Making fun of the violence that has been circulating around Donald Trump rallies lately.

Larry David returned with his spot-on Bernie Sanders impression. The fake Democratic presidential hopeful said he wasn’t worried about superdelegates, “I have the voters. My message is resonating with a very diverse group of white people.” Sanders added, “I’ve got supporters of all ages, 18-year-olds, 19-year olds.”

“The young people love me Tapper, because I’m like them, I’ve got a lot of big plans and absolutely no idea how to achieve them,” David said in kvetching Sanders style.

When asked why Beck Bennett’s Jake Tapper as to why he wasn’t doing well with African-Americans, Sanders replied, “Probably because I look like someone who told them, ‘Get out of my store!'”
