SNL: The Rock Is A Ferocious Gun-Toting Deer And His ‘Furious 7’ Co-Stars Join Him In Live-Action Remake Of ‘Bambi’

Dwayne Johnson first hosted Saturday Night Live in 2000, then in 2002 as well as in 2009. The Rock made a triumphant return to the sketch comedy show with a tremendous appearance.

Take the cast of Furious 7, transform them into adorably cute lil woodland animals, arm them with attitude and guns, and you have this awesomely bizarre parody skit for a violent live-action version of Disney’s classic Bambi.

The Rock plays Bambi, an incensed deer who is out for revenge after his mother was killed by hunters when he was a young fawn. Vin Diesel is the jumpy rabbit “Thumper,” and he’ll help Bambi avenge his mother’s death. Tyrese Gibson plays the skunk Flower, and Michelle Rodriguez is the girl Bambie named Faline. Ludacris even adds a catchy song to the movie soundtrack with his guaranteed hit, “Wham. Bam. Bambi.”

That fantastically cheesy action movie dialogue doe, “When I was a boy they took away my mother. Now it’s time for them to pay… dearly.”

The faction of heavily armed animals stage an assault on the the Tanglewood Hunting Lodge and obliterate everyone. Bambi even gets one amazingly punny insult in as he leaps while double-fisting two handguns and takes out the hunters.

Talk about “Fast and the Furry-ous.”
