We recently brought you the news that the  WWE Network confirmed that rapper Snoop Dogg will be inducted into the Celebrity Wing of the WWE Hall of Fame next Saturday night in Dallas, Texas. He will join a slew of controversial celebs including Mike Tyson, Pete Rose, and Donald Trump. Snoop has guest hosted Raw a number of times and is a self-proclaimed huge wrestling fan, even showing face at WrestleMania XXIV.

Every accolade and honor Snoop receives is well deserved in my opinion. The dude is a tour de force–a musical genius with a knack for comedy who in 20 years has managed to stay relevant. In a rap world littered with self-importance and copycats, Snoop remains a diamond in the rough. Smoking blunts and dropping Deez Nuts jokes on the paparazzi. The life, man. The life.

The anti-drug people gave him a $50 savings bond for his brave contribution to crime-fighting, and upon the bond’s maturity 10 years later, he used it to buy his very first bag of marijuana.
