Snoop Dogg Receives A Standing Ovation After Ending His WWE Hall Of Fame Speech With A Rap

I’m admittedly a little baffled over the criteria the WWE uses to induct its Hall of Famers. Since they opened the celebrity wing back in 2004, inductees have included Pete Rose, Mike Tyson, The Donald, and Drew Carey. At least Pete got into one Hall of Fame, AMIRIGHT. Shut up, Matt.

Regardless, the WWE honored Snoop Dogg aka my second favorite person behind Tori Black with a Hall of Fame nod last night. The 44-year-old has guest-hosted an episode of Raw and was the Master of Ceremonies for the Playboy BunnyMania Lumberjill match at WrestleMania XXIV.

After being ushered in by longtime friend John Cena, Snoop gave a thoughtful tribute to his cousin, WWE star and former NXT Women’s Champion Sasha Banks. He then ended his speech with a rap centering around how honored he feels to be inducted. Good on you, Snoop.

Don’t forget to tune into WrestleMania 32 tonight. Check out all the deets HERE.

Matt’s love of writing was born during a sixth grade assembly when it was announced that his essay titled “Why Drugs Are Bad” had taken first prize in D.A.R.E.’s grade-wide contest. The anti-drug people gave him a $50 savings bond for his brave contribution to crime-fighting, and upon the bond’s maturity 10 years later, he used it to buy his very first bag of marijuana.
