YES! ‘Space Jam’ Sequel Is DEFINITELY Happening And Will Star LeBron James!

We’ve heard for years that there was going to be a Space Jam 2 rumored to be staring everyone from Tracy McGrady to Kobe Bryant to Blake Griffin. But, now a Space Jam sequel is most definitely happening and it will feature none other than LeBron James.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the highly anticipated sequel to the 1996 Looney Tunes and Michael Jordan driven classic is definitely happening. LeBron will take the reins to defeat the evil Monstars in the upcoming live-action flick (No word if Shawn Bradley will reprise his role).

Justin Lin (Fast & Furious 6, Star Trek Beyond) is in talks to direct the intergalactic hoop film. Andrew Dodge (Bad Words) is writing the script for Warner Bros.

James made his feature film debut last year in the Judd Apatow/Amy Schumer comedy Trainwreck.

The original film earned over $230 million at the box office.

The plot has yet to be revealed, but there is a rumor that LeBron will sign with the Monstars if he can’t win with Bugs and Lola Bunny.
