Steve From ‘Stranger Things’ Recreates Iconic ‘Ferris Bueller’ Scenes In Rad Domino’s Ads

Stranger Things relied heavily on 80s pop culture nostalgia to hook viewers. In their new ad campaign, Domino’s not only stole romancing and reminiscing about the 80s from the playbook of Stranger Things but also borrowed one of their stars. The new ads from the pizza purveyor feature Joe Keery, who plays Steve Harrington on Stranger Things, and he plays Ferris Bueller.

Domino’s recreated two iconic scenes from Ferris Bueller’s Day Off for their new pizza tracking service. Instead of Matthew Broderick, it is Steve from Stranger Things as everyone’s favorite school-skipping truant from the John Hughes’ classic.

You’ll get a Sloane Peterson doppelganger as well as an Alan Ruck cameo, who played Cameron Frye in the 1986 comedy.

The scenes have been updated with modern gadgets such as an Amazon Echo and smartwatches.

“Life moves pretty fast, if you can’t track your pizza, you could miss it.”

We don’t get Season 2 of Stranger Things until October 31st, 2017, so this nostalgia porn will have to do until then.
