We can’t lie, being a superhero has been every single one of our dreams since we were kids. Even now when we’re old enough to realize fighting crime in a mask and cape won’t pay the bills, we’d jump at the chance to do it anyway because…well, it’s awesome. If you’re sitting there thinking “Wow, man I’d love to get a chance at being a superhero,” you’re in luck. From July 24-27 at the San Diego Comic Con, Hulu has paired up with Xbox to bring the original series The Awesomes to the Xbox Lounge at the Manchester Grand Hyatt where you can record your very own superhero audition video. The best audition will be selected by The Awesomes themselves and get animated into an upcoming episode. After you’ve finished your audition, you can even head over to the Xbox Lounge from 4-5 p.m. on July 26th to see Seth Meyers and other The Awesomes cast members.
But wait, not only do you get to make your own superhero audition video, but there’s also cape-making station so that you can really give your character that extra superhero edge.
We know that not everyone is up for capes though, so in addition to the cape station the first 100 fans to audition every day will get a free limited edition Prock action figure. Not much of an action figure kind of Bro? Don’t worry…ALL fans who audition will get a gift card for 1 month of FREE Hulu Plus. Who doesn’t like free television? Only super villains, that’s who.
