What does this mean!? Garvey, dead? Evie, dead? The Guilty Remnant, (finally) dead!? Everyone else, dead? Who knows, but that sky-writing prop plane was creepy AF, and a cool way for HBO to introduce the first look at the third and final season of The Leftovers.
While not exactly a show for everyone, critics who’ve appreciated the bible-inspired thriller for the first two seasons will definitely tell you the twists and turns are abundant, be them both odd and intriguing. The second seaosn left with quite the cliffhanger, and there’s a ton of character gripes that lay unresolved, too, so it’s a safe bet the final season will be a decent watch.
If you’ve never gotten into the show, it’s certainly worth a try ahead of the third season premiere come April.
