The National Covered The Grateful Dead’s ‘Morning Dew’ On Stephen Colbert Last Night

Next week indie rock band The National will release one of the most ambitious projects to date: A Grateful Dead tribute album called Day Of The Dead. It’s not your typical tribute album: There are 59 tracks, combining to a six-hour box set release. It’s been four years in the making. So last night, to promote the album, The National went on Stephen Colbert to perform “Morning Dew” in their own unique indie rock way.
