‘The Revenant’ (Allegedly) Includes A Scene Where Leonardo DiCaprio Gets Raped By A Bear

In the second trailer for The Revenant, Leonardo DiCaprio punched a bear in the face.

We now know what made Leo so angry, and it wasn’t your typical bear doing bear stuff.

No, apparently the movie includes a scene where Leo is graphically sexually assaulted by a bear. Twice. It’s so brutal that people have apparently walked out of initial screenings, according to a completely believable and not at all well sourced Drudge Report report.

The new movie ‘REVENANT’ features a shocking scene of a wild bear raping Leo DiCaprio!

The explicit moment from Oscar winning director Alejandro Inarritu has caused maximum controversy in early screenings. Some in the audience escaped to the exits when the Wolf of Wall Street met the Grizzly of Yellowstone.

The story of rural survivalism and revenge reaches new violent levels for a mainstream film.

The bear flips Leo over and thrusts and thrusts during the explicit mauling.

“He is raped — twice!”

We really should have given him that Oscar long ago. This is our fault.

Of course, there are already doubting bear truthers out there.

“”

Sure, except that your Twitter bio says film expert, not bear expert. My co-worker Cass also says there’s a zero percent chance this report is true. I disagree. Meanwhile, The Hollywood Reporter covered the screenings and said there were walkouts, but nothing sexual. Though it was BRUTAL.

A pre-Thanksgiving Academy screening led to a few walkouts and a number of moans and groans, even as many audience members were awed by the film’s scope and ambition. No scene shocked and awed the audience as much as one when one where DiCaprio stumbles across a bear and its cubs, and then is ferociously (and repeatedly) assaulted by the beast, which spins, turns and eventually sits on him, after throwing him around and ripping great scads of flesh from his back. The sequence is a monument to CGI, and also perhaps to (some) viewers’ willingness to endure the unendurable. One otherwise admiring pundit was slammed on social media for tweeting, “Forget women seeing this.”

I say it happened.

But what do you think, Bros?

UPDATE: It doesn’t.
