The Undertaker’s First Job After Retiring At Wrestlemania Is Not What You’d Expect

I was there in person on Sunday night when The Undertaker, arguably the greatest WWE superstar in history, hung up his trenchcoat and hat and effectively retired from the WWE forever. The Undertaker‘s 52 years old, so it’s actually shocking that he’s made it this long without permanently retiring.

Alas, Mark William Calaway’s days as ‘The Undertaker’ in the WWE are over, and fans worldwide have been speculating what he’d be up to next. I can almost guaran-damn-tee that nobody expected The Undertaker’s first gig after retiring at Wrestlemania 33 would be to appear online as a shill for Country Music megastar George Strait, but that’s exactly how The Undertaker chose to reemerge into pop culture this week:

If you couldn’t gather this from above, I’ll spell it out to you: George Strait just announced a series of Summer concerts in Las Vegas and The Undertaker has chosen to kick off retirement by plugging one of the all-time Country Music greats.

I’m completely okay with this career choice. Retirement is going to be boring as hell, and The Undertaker should keep himself busy by hanging out with celebs like George Strait.

As noted on UPROXX, this is the song that The Undertaker was shilling for George in that video above:
