‘The Witch’ Trailer Is So Terrifying You’ll Never Step Foot On A Farm Or Chop Wood Shirtless Again

I’ve already got a fear of farms (though I might be more scared of the actual work on a farm and not like miles of corn) and this new trailer for The Witch will ensure I never go apple picking or shirtless wood chopping again.

The Witch is about a family in 1630s New England is torn apart by the forces of witchcraft, black magic and possession. The film centers on Puritanical Christians William (Ralph Ineson) and Katherine (Kate Dickey), who haul their five children to an isolated patch of wilderness in the hopes of living out an idyllic existence. But the space has an eerie quality from the outset, and it doesn’t take long for creepy occurrences to endanger their cozy setup, particularly those revolving around their blonde teenage daughter (Anya Taylor-Joy).

It’s always a good idea to protect your family by dragging them TO THE MIDDLE OF NOWHERE. Like demons don’t have GPS. Good luck protecting them from that demonic bunny, let alone demons.
