‘Transformers: The Last Knight’ Twitter Teaser Hints At A Franchise Favorite

Love him or hate him, Michael Bay has made beaucoup dollars with the Transformers franchise. Like ‘light my money on fire with the flame of my cigar’ money. And I do think the first entry was pretty damn entertaining. Everything after that was box office garbage, but at least the first one was an enjoyable theater experience. That in mind, Bay is not done.

The fifth installment is on its way and it’s titled Transformers: The Last Knight. And the studio has given a full green light on the viral marketing campaign. How has it started? A “government warning” clip that features the caption ‘Something wicked this way comes.’

There’s a lot of speculation on to what this refers to, but the baddie Unicron definitely comes to mind. Now this would be a welcomed change, as Unicron is an old villain face that could potentially reel the franchise back in to at least a fun time again. The second and third Transformers films were just so overstuffed that it became hard to follow and bombastic to the point of walking out.

Hopefully, Bay has realized he needs to give his franchise some new blood and this may be the ticket.
