I guess when you’re a celebrity who makes hundreds of thousands of dollars a year money doesn’t really matter. Just this week we saw Mark Wahlberg throw a random homeless guy a $100 bill just because he could, and Diddy…well he’s loaded as fuck so whatever. That’s not the point. The point is that Mark Wahlberg and Diddy are betting $250,000 against each other on the Mayweather vs. Pacquiao fight, with Diddy backing Mayweather and Wahlberg with Pacquiao. Via TMZ,
Mark was out in Beverly Hills Tuesday when we asked the movie star if he was at all worried about Diddy pulling an Aaron Rodgers … and backing out of the agreement if Pacman turns out to be victorious.
…Mark says he’s not worried about a Rodgering … ’cause he CAN’T, due to the fact that the money is already being held by a neutral party.
Now before you go and start spouting off about how these two don’t need any more money, calm your engines – the winnings will go to the winning fighter’s charity of choice rather than into either celebrity’s pocket. Ideally that charity would be called the “Rebecca Martinson Fund For Giving Her Money Because She Likes To Not Be Poor,” but unfortunately that doesn’t exist…yet.
