‘War For The Planet Of The Apes’ Looks Like The Best Ever Woody Harrelson Action Movie

I sat here pondering what my favorite Woody Harrelson action movies are and I’m conflicted. I guess it depends on whether or not we’re willing to consider Zombieland and Natural Born Killers of the ‘Action’ genre, and I’d argue that those two films are most certainly not Action. Anyways, I’m comfortable with claiming that War for the Planet of the Apes looks like Woody Harrelson’s best Action film to date because, frankly, I can’t think of a better Action movie that he’s ever starred in.

I’m not ashamed to admit that I haven’t kept up with the Planet of the Apes reboots over the past few years, but I will be seeing this one. You know that Woody Harrelson only takes memorable roles, and signs on to act in great films, so there’s almost no shot in hell that this film is a flop.

UPDATE: a commenter pointed out to me that Money Train was Woody’s best action film and I agree with them. As I mentioned in an earlier article, I’m running on 4 hours of sleep and can’t get my brain to fire on all cylinders this morning.
