Will Smith Says ‘Bad Boys 3’ Is Really Happening, ‘Cause BAD BOYS FOR LIFE

The Bad Boys 3 movie was first announced last August, complete with a release date a year from now in February 2017 followed by Bad Boys 4 in July 2019. But we haven’t heard much more about the project since that triumphant announcement that Martin Lawrence and Will Smith would be reunited again. In a recent interview with BBC Radio 1, Smith offered an update on the project. Here’s a summar via Complex:

“I saw Martin [Lawrence] a few weeks ago,” Smith reveals. “I haven’t seen him for about two years. We just looked at each other. We hugged. In that moment, we knew we were making another Bad Boys. We’re definitely doing another one.” Sadly, for those of us still clinging to the hope of a Wild Wild West sequel, future president Will Smith isn’t really here for that: “There probably will not be a Wild Wild West 2.”

Just makes me more hyped. As you may recall, the film’s director has shifted from Michael Bay to Joe Carnahan (The BlacklistThe A-Team, and The Grey), who yesterday tweeted out this teaser of Bad Boys 3.

Bad Boys for life.
