Someone Wrote A Screenplay About Wu-Tang And Bill Murray Pulling A Heist On Martin Shkreli

Controversial capitalist Martin Shkreli deserves to have his face on the cover of Time Magazine as the troll of the year. Last week the Internet exploded over the news that he paid $2 million to buy the only copy of Wu-Tang’s Once Upon a Time in Shaolin. Then the story got even crazier when the fake news “broke” that Bill Murray could somehow save the album from landing in Shkreli’s hands by heisting it.

This hearsay was all the work of some ingenious social media fiction. One man decided to take the narrative of Bill Murray ganging up with the Wu-Tang Clan to steal their album back one step further. Jordan VanDina fired up Final Draft to write an actual screenplay imagining what the saga would look like on the big screen. It includes Morgan Freeman narrating, Shawshank-style and appearances by Justin Bieber, Donald Trump, Mark Cuban, Michael Jordan, Guy Fieri and basically every single other person in the pop culture universe. For example:

Look… All I’m saying is that Hollywood needs to make this happen.
