In the fourth episode of HBO’s new series Ballers, retired offensive lineman Charles Greane finds himself in quite the predicament the day after Anderson Financial’s revelrous yacht party.
Greane’s debacle – a ravishing woman blowing up his phone with sexts – is something usually welcomed by men. Unless, of course, they’re married, as is the case of the character portrayed by Omar Benson Miller.
At the end of the episode, viewers saw Charles Greane drive past his own driveway to witness his wife unloading groceries, only to seemingly make the decision to go rendezvous with Sammy, the phone-sexting temptress who acquired Greane’s number courtesy of wide receiver Ricky Jarrett.
Now, we’re not advocating infidelity of any form…but it’s pretty easy to understand why Greane is having a hard time getting Sammy – played by the scintillating Zashia Santiago – off of his mind. If only we all could be so lucky to have a girl like this blowing up our phones with invites to her bedroom…
Apparently, Zashia Santiago looks just as amazing with short hair, too. Ironic too, as she almost styles it virtually the same way as Charles Greane’s wife does her’s in Ballers.
Yeah, it’s pretty safe to say we hope Sammy is going to be a recurring character for the rest of the season.
