Blink-182’s New Album Is Here To Make Your 4th of July Weekend Infinitely Better

BLink-182 rang in the glorious month of July by dropping their new album California on Friday, and my god, is it a banger.

Having gone close to six years with an album drought from one of the preeminent rock bands of our time, Blink’s newest solidifies their place as one of the major influences in the alternative space. Backed by a multitude of festival appearances, where they’ve fuckin’ ripped it every show, California puts you in touch with three guys in their early 40s, who were responsible for burgeoning a rebellious genre of music adored by millions.

Despite Alkaline Trio’s Matt Skiba replacing long-time front-man Tom DeLonge, the record still offers the incredible rock anthem tracks the California-based band has become famous for.

There was zero excuses not to blog this once we saw ‘Brohemian Rhapsody’ was the album’s closing track title. Enjoy, bros.

And if you didn’t laugh at ‘Built This Pool,’ well, you can show yourself out of this house party right fucking now.

A 10/10 album to kick off your 4th of July festivities, bros.
