Bob Dylan’s Grandson, Pablo Dylan Is A Rapper
Pablo has a mixtape tape out titled “10 Minutes ” and is working on a single with Young Money artist Lil Chuckee.
Pablo is the son of the famous folk singer’s son, Jesse, who is known for directing music videos for Tom Petty and Lenny Kravitz, and for directing the Will.I.Am music video for “Yes We Can,” inspired by President Barack Obama's run for president in 2008.
Pablo compares his grandfather to a certain hip hop icon, “My grandfather, I consider him the Jay-Z of his time, and he definitely has a legacy that a lot of people look up to. He feels strongly about my music and I love him to death.”
Pablo became interested in hip hop after he heard Eminem's “The Eminem Show.”
Pablo doesn't want to only be known as the grandson of Bob Dylan, he wants to create his own legacy, “Of course we do two different things, and I don't want people to see me for what he has done; but, what I have done, I mean from a musical and personal standpoint, is definitely influenced by him.”
