I’ll be blunt. It’s a shit day. Everyone enjoys various kinds of music and the deaths of certain musicians effect us all differently. For me, this is a rough one to take. It was a total body blow. I listen to a lot of music while I work and I have coincidentally been on a serious Chris Cornell binge over the last few weeks. I’ve always been a been a fan, but for some reason I have recently been listening to a lot of his solo work, his one-man acoustic shows and some Audioslave. I haven’t really been digging into his Soundgarden stuff, but seeing as how this was his final performance on this earth, it seems like an appropriate post.
Not much more to add. Really going to miss this guy. Rest easy, Chris.
