John Mayer Crashed A Sorority Charity Event With Bob Weir And So Many Sorority Girls Just Couldn’t Even

Here’s reason #582 John Mayer is the ultimate Bro. At a towering 6′ 3″ and blessed with nearly perfect genes, the 39-year-old singer/songwriter/guitarist from Fairfield County certainly knows how to own a room.

Mayer is currently preparing for a massive world tour (as well as a month of touring with Dead and Company) and in the studio putting finishing touches on his forthcoming album, The Search For Everything. If you haven’t already listened to it, “Still Feel Like Your Man” is the unofficial official cuffing jam of early spring.

On Saturday night, however, he headed down to Orange County, California with Bob Weir and Weir’s wife Natascha to crash a Chapman University sorority gala. The event was Alpha Phi’s Red Dress charity gala for heart health in Newport Beach.

The reaction from the sorority sisters about John Mayer crashing their event was understandably enthusiastic:

The connection between Alpha Phi at Chapman and Mayer, however, isn’t that random — Mayer was clearly a guest of The Grateful Dead’s Bob Weir and his wife. The Other One’s daughter, Monet Weir, is a sister in Alpha Phi:

And it wasn’t just sorority girls freaking out about Mayer crashing the gala — These Bros were just as enthusiastic to snap pics with the Dead and Company guitarist and Bobby:

… inducing serious FOMO for alumni:

You should have attended, Ryan!

Meanwhile, John seemed to have a blast, signing off on Twitter for the night.

Just another reason to love the dude.
