Drummer Awesomely Shreds Through 71 Beatles Songs In Only 5 Minutes

by 2 years ago

In just five minutes, Australian drummer Kye Smith shows off some of his talents, ripping into an astonishing 71 Beatles songs, playing roughly a measure or two from each melody before moving onto the next song. Whoa. Seventy-one riffs in five minutes! I know the Beatles music isn’t the most technically challenging stuff, but the coordination and memory required to pull this jam session off is pretty damn impressive if I do say for myself.

If you didn’t notice, Kye Smith was actually working through the mostly well-known Beatles songs in chronological order, which makes this video even cooler, as it shows the kind of progression that Ringo played with throughout the years. For your curiousity, here’s the entire track listing.
