It was totally unintentional, too. Lil Yachty wasn’t even on my radar – erm, periscope – before yesterday. Never heard of the dude. And then I stumbled upon this goddamn masterpiece of a music video for his single “1 Night” when the dudes over at Fader premiered it and HOLY SHIT. Took me close to 24 hours to even find the words and blog it, because it’s just that damn mind blowing.
The editing complexities of Yachty’s music video go far beyond my understanding of reality, and the track is catchy AF. Some of the best frames from the masterpiece are below, because they come at you far too fast in real-time to actually appreciate.
