Sign Language Interpreter Keeping Up With Logic’s Freestyle Rap At Gov Ball Is Mesmerizing

Rapper Logic, aka Sir Robert Bryson Hall II, performed at the 2017 Governor’s Ball music festival in New York City over the weekend and blew the crowds away. Logic‘s only 27-years-old but he’s already a member of the Def Jam music family, the record label owned and operated by music magnates Russell Simmons and Rick Rubin.

Logic is making a huuuuge name for himself but it was the American Sign Language interpreter who stole the show last night. During a part of the show where Logic busted out a never-before-heard true freestyle rap, the ASL interpreter somehow managed to keep up with him, and the crowd was going nuts for it and rightfully so. That talented interpreter has blown my mind, and I’ve rewatched the Logic freestyle no less than five times since I first came across it.

He’s got one of the brightest futures in the Hip-Hop world and Business Insider notes that this mesmerizing freestyle performance was just a stepping stone in Logic’s summer. He’s now embarking on a major tour with Joey Bada$$ and Big Lenbo which kicks off next month. Logic’s latest YouTube hit has been ‘1-800-273-8255’. The track features Alessia Cara & Khalid and it the phone number is for the National Suicide Prevention Hotline, a cause near and dear to his heart. If you haven’t heard that yet you can check it out below:
