For years, Rick Ross’s morbid obesity was pretty much the rapper’s personal brand in the hip-hop world. His 400-plus pounds of love made the Maybach Music founder an endearing rap anomaly who could get away with dropping bars about indulging in wings at Wingstop. Audiences love him for being a big dude in a world that values the fit and healthy.
Earlier this year, however, something transformative happened: Rick Ross started hitting the gym, doing what he came to call his “RossFit” workout routine, the rapper’s own version of CrossFit. Reebok also hooked him up with a personal trainer. He also started eating health, dropping about 100 pounds with better life habits.
So what does Ricky Ross eat now? “Pears and all that shit,” which makes for a delightfully entertaining Vine video
