The late, great Tupac Shakur will be inducted into Cleveland’s Rock and Roll Hall of Fame next month. It’s now being reported that Snoop Dogg will be the man who inducts Tupac into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. This likely means we can expect a lengthy tribute performance from Snoop Dogg and an incredible speech about 2pac.

Furthermore, there are rumors Dr. Dre has been asked to join Snoop Dogg for Tupac Shakur’s Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction performance, but that it’s still up in the air whether or not Dre will join Snoop. At this point, given that the news has leaked that Dr. Dre’s thinking about joining Snoop Dogg for Tupac’s induction ceremony I WOULD BE SHOCKED if Dre doesn’t show up. Snoop and Dre are living legends, and Tupac’s legacy is deserving of this honor. 2pac and Snoop performed ‘(Gangsta Party) 2 of Amerikaz Most Wanted’ together, and I wholeheartedly expect to see Dr. Dre walk out on stage to rap 2pac’s parts on that collaboration.

It was TMZ who broke the news that Snoop Dogg’s signed on to perform and induct Tupac Shakur into the venerable Hall of Fame. It’s also TMZ who broke the rumors that Dr. Dre might join Snoop Dogg on stage for Tupac’s induction peformance.

The 2017 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony takes place at the Barclay’s Center in Brooklyn, home of the Brooklyn Nets, and it will go down on April 7th.

There will be a large group of West Coast rappers on stage to accompany Snoop Dogg in paying tribute to Tupac Shakur at this year’s induction ceremony. But, I have a feeling both the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and HBO, the company filming the ceremony, will try and keep that all of the details under wraps until the event takes place.
