Tame Impala’s Confetti-Blasting Bonnaroo Set Looked To Be Absolutely Life-Changing

The best thing about camping festivals like Bonnaroo is that everyone is all-in on the experience. They have to be, the only other option is going back to your tent, getting sun poisoning, and staring into the abyss. When you combine everyone’s desire to get weird on various substances with some of the best musical performances this planet has to offer, the results can be life-changing.

That certainly looked to be the case with Tame Impala’s 1:00 am Saturday morning set on Bonnaroo’s Which Stage. The Australian psychedelic rock band puts on one of the best live shows I’ve witnessed, and from these clips, it looks like Kevin Parker and the boys are only getting better with age.

The anti-drug people gave him a $50 savings bond for his brave contribution to crime-fighting, and upon the bond’s maturity 10 years later, he used it to buy his very first bag of marijuana.
