The Edge From U2 Fell Off The Edge Of A Stage, So That’s Rock & Roll Irony At Its Finest

The U2 haters will revel in this one, but anyone with a heart/appreciation for great ’80’s rock will go, “Holy shit, The Edge just fell off stage! That’s the guy who plays the amazing delay loop on Where The Streets Have No Name !!!”

Ummmmmm, hey, The Edge, that’s the poorest stage dive execution I’ve ever witnessed, man!

And of course Bono kept right along singing, too, because that’s what Bono does.

He was probably thinking, “Wow, Edge, that’s some awesome reverb effects, mate!” as he continued belting out whatever song the legendary rock band was playing at the time.

The scary fall happened in Vancouver at the debut show for U2’s Innocence and Experience tour. Luckily, The Edge was not injured, and finished out the gig like a champ.

UPDATE: Apparently, The Edge’s fall occurred during the performance of I Still Haven’t Found What I’m Looking For, which makes it even more ironic. You were looking for some more stage under your feet, Edge. Rock on.
