Truth Studios Album, Documentary Seeks to Change Music for The Better
We're proud to present TRUTH STUDIOS, a music initative that has been servicing the independent music scene of Los Angeles and artists visiting from around the country since 2009. It's founder Nick Breton assembled everything from the Microphones to the Mixing board and speakers. He even built the new studio by hand with associates Glenn Gonda and John Sveiven. Over the years they've had artists in the studio from The Cool Kids to Asher Roth to Xzibit, Tyrese, Slim Thug and many more.
To spread their message, Truth Studios is working on a documentary that will showcase their story, their accomplishments, and their undeniably bright future. We had a chance to talk to Nick, who elaborated further on both the project and the ways in which they hope to make a meaningful and long-lasting impact on the music world:
The studio started in my bedroom in 2009 with a friend of mine Glenn Gonda, who does the mixing and mastering. We started out working with a popular group by the name of U-N-I and thousands of hours later, a lot of headshakes lead to meeting hundreds of artists and producers, mangers, label representatives and more”
The documentary is going to be about the birth, growth and expansion of this company as well as the sessions and creation of the first Truth Studios compilation album. We put together some great merchandise and packages for those willing to support our dream.
The project is currently seeking support on Kickstarter, through which their intiative is further explained in the video below.
As noted, Truth is planning to relase a complementary album, which will be available later in the month. This probably isn't the last you'll hear from these guys, so best put them squarely on your radar. In the words of Breton, “help change music forever.”
