I’ve listened to this three times and it’s taking everything in my power to not go into the street and set cardboard boxes on fire while primal screaming. Tyga and Game’s “Chiraq To LA” is a diss track aimed at recent XXL freshman Lil Durk, who had the audacity to threaten Tyga with backpack theft on “Chi-raq” just a few days ago.
The LA guys escalate things a bit. Okay, a lot. Game—who has never met a beef he doesn’t like—channels DMX with two minutes of ferocity, sounding at times like a man trying to get out a scream while bench-pressing 400 pounds. (I’m genuinely concerned for the guy’s health.) And Tyga is no slouch either, dropping the Above the Rim references you need when executing a diss track.
