Chevy Just Unveiled The 2019 Silverado, Kicking Off A Brand New Generation For Chevy Trucks

GM

Since 1918, Chevrolet has rolled out over 85 million trucks around the world. In it’s many various generations, Chevy trucks have epitomized what it means to be built like a rock, from the Task Force Pickups of the ’50s to the V8 pickups of the ’80s to the launch of the Silverado in ’99.

At a big launch event at the Texas Motor Speedway yesterday, Chevy pulled the curtain up on the next generation of Chevy Trucks. The brand revealed the brand-new 2019 Silverado 1500, a pickup boasting a sleek modern design (…look at those curves!) and a powerful range of models, including the Silverado LT Trailboss that comes equipped with Z71 power and a two-inch suspension lift. That burning bush red sure is easy on the eyes, too.

Chevy launched the truck by air-lifting the Silverado into Texas Motor Speedway via helicopter. Full-reveal is at the North American Auto Show in Detroit.
