Adidas Unveiled Some Of The Most Incredibly Patriotic Baseball Cleats You’ll Ever See

We told you earlier about reigning NL MVP Bryce Harper showing off his extremely American baseball cleats for the 4th of July this weekend, and adidas baseball has now unveiled there own pair, with some red, white and blue love to honor the U.S.’ 240th birthday.

And, dammit, these things are a symbol of freedom.

Here’s the description from adidas of the cleats:

Featuring the red, white and blue colors and stars of the American flag, these special edition cleats are crafted with a lenticular upper material that transforms with movement – giving the effect of a fireworks show.  Additionally, the sock liners feature hotdogs sitting atop a picnic tablecloth style pattern.

The new Energy Boost Icon 2 features a redesigned upper with a street-inspired TECHFIT bootie and clear molded heel clip to provide the ultimate fit. The entire patriotic design sits atop a full-length Energy Boost midsole to provide game-changing comfort, while a laser-etched, navy matte-finish plate with PROTRAX cleat configuration provides dynamic acceleration and traction.

So while you’re sitting around drinking beer, watching baseball and eating a bunch of BBQ, peep some of your favorite MLB players wearing these to honor America this weekend.
