These Platinum Bryce Harper Cleats That He’s Rockin’ During The All-Star Game Are Just Incredible

Man, how dope is it to be Bryce Harper?

In addition to the reigning NL MVP being one of the biggest bros in all of sports and trying to make baseball fun again, there are rumors that the 23-year-old could crack the $500 million mark on his next contract when he becomes a free agent, meaning he’s all but set for life by now.

And when you toss in the crazy deal he has with Under Armour—who designs sick shoes like these platinum cleats B-Harp will be wearing for this year’s All-Star Game—I’m not sure there’s ever a day in which Harper wakes up upset.

Per the Washington Post, via Sports Illustrated:

Like the previous versions of his signature cleat, the platinum model features ‘220’ sewn into the tongue, representing one of Harper’s mantras, “Second to None.”

According to Sports Illustrated, future releases of the Harper One will include a neon colorway “paying tribute to a mountain he used to visit with his dad in Las Vegas” and all-white and all-white versions of the cleats inspired by Harper’s Mercedes and Camaro.

And here’s a pretty cool video showing the inspiration behind Bryce’s first signature cleat.

Harper wore some custom “Harper One” signature cleats in gold on the Opening Day, and an amazing pair on 4th of July, too, but there’s something about that silver that just makes these things pop! Bryce Harper is the freakin’ man, guys.
