Chevy Goes All Black Everything With Eye-Catching 2018 Colorado ZR2 Midnight And Dusk Editions

Now, this is a sharp-looking truck right here. Chevy unveiled the brand new 2018 Colorado ZR2 Midnight Edition and the Dusk Edition that packs a punch and boasts an intimidating design. Chevrolet rolled out two eye-catching trim packages for the already gorgeous Colorado ZR2 pickup truck that is fearsome, yet stylish. Chevy released photos of the new-look truck right before it debuts them in person at the annual SEMA convention in Las Vegas starting on October 31.

Both the Midnight and the Dusk Edition are powered by a 3.6-liter gas V-6 or 2.8-liter turbo-diesel inline-four-cylinder engine. The 2018 Chevrolet Colorado ZR2 Midnight Edition lets you go all black everything. That means black bowtie emblems, 17-inch five-spoke black wheels (including the spare), black sport-bar with off-road LED lighting, and ZR2 logos on the sport-bar sail panels.

The Midnight Edition comes in one color and one color only. Want to take a guess? You guessed it, black. Meanwhile, the 2018 Colorado ZR2 comes in any ZR2 paint colors with black exterior accents.

All ZR2 models offer a 2-inch-higher suspension, a 3.5-inch-wider track, Multimatic DSSV dampers (the first off-road shocks to feature position-sensitive spool valve technology), extra skid plating and off-road rocker protection.

The ZR2 package also includes front and rear electronic locking differentials, hill descent control, four-wheel disc brakes, an aluminum skid plate to protect the radiator and oil pan, Autotrac transfer case, modified rear axle with a 3.42:1 ratio, performance air intake, performance exhaust, all-weather floor liners, and a special off-road mode setting.

Chevy hasn’t released the price of these special-edition mid-size premium pickup trucks, but they are said to be available in four to six weeks.
