There’s Now An App That’s Basically A ‘Netflix For Comic Books’ And It’s Pretty Damn Awesome

Comixology, the digital comic reading app, just launched a Netflix-style subscription service for their massive catalog of titles. The new service, named Comixology Unlimited, offers access to thousands of digital comics and manga from publishers like Image, Dark Horse, and IDW.

The Walking Dead, Saga, Hellboy, and Attack on Titan are just some of the available titles.

Now the “bad” news — Marvel or DC comics aren’t available on the app (Marvel has their own subscription service and I’ve got no idea what the f*ck DC is waiting for) and there are just selected issues of each comic available. In other words, you won’t be able to read every Walking Dead ever on the app.

My personal recommendation — The Boys by Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson. One of the funniest, sickest most entertaining comic books of all time.

Comixology is even offering a 30-day free trial. Try it now.
