It’s been years since EAS hit the scene. I remember back when Brady “Now I’m Done” Quinn was a spokesman for the brand and when Shannon Sharpe used to wear EAS mock neck shirts. That’s as hot a look as you’ll find, by the way.
Although many athletes associated with, and were sponsored by, EAS, the person most people in the fitness world associate the brand with is Bill Phillips. If you recall (you probably don’t) Phillips wrote the best-selling fitness book “Body For Life” 12 Weeks to Mental and Physical Strength.” The book not only changed a lot of people’s lives, but it got a lot of people into the EAS brand. Myself included.
Back then the protein supplement market wasn’t overly saturated and EAS was the top dog. Times have changed. And although EAS may not have made it into our list of the best protein brands on the market, they still offer a quality product and today, Amazon has 20% off EAS’s protein supplements.
