Russian SHERP ATV Tank Works On Land, Under Water, And Would Make An Awesome Party Bus

Russia might have created the greatest tank in military history. It’s called the SHERP ATV and it’s a tank/ATV hybrid that goes on land or water.

Created by Alexei Garagashyan, the SHERP ATV features four comically oversized, self-inflated tires that are powered by a 44.3 horsepower 1.5-liter Kubota V1505 four-cylinder diesel linked to a five-speed manual. Combined with a dry weight of 2,866 pounds, the SHERP can hit speeds of 28 mph on land, or 3.7 mph in water. It can also surmount obstacles of up to 27.5 inches and turn in its own length of 11 feet. Equipped with a tough polymer coating and a 15.3-gallon fuel tank, the SHERP also offers add-ons such as a high-power generator, a light bar, or even a trailer. Watch the SHERP tear up a frozen lake in the video below in a demonstration of its prowess.

That thing is awesome and it will so cool when it eventually gets blown up by something in the sky because this isn’t 1950.
