Snoop Dogg’s New ‘Money’ Football Cleats Are The Shizzle For Rizzle

While other rappers work on getting their own sneak, the real OG, Snoop Dogg, just released his own football cleat, putting one of his most famous lyrics on a pair of adidas adizero 5-Star 5.0’s with their “Money” design—so now all players can have their “mind on their money and their money on their mind.”

Snoop’s son, Cordell Broadus, used to play football for the UCLA Bruins—and his contemplating a comeback after leaving the team last year—and the rapper’s love for the sport is well-known, making this collaboration a natural fit.

Here’s what Snoop had to say about the project, per adidas’ press release:

“Football is one of my main passions and that includes everything from coaching kids to helping design the best gear out there,” said Snoop. “adidas Football and I are all about fusing sports and culture and this new cleat showcases how we are true visionaries and pioneers in blending style with performance in Football.”

In addition to his son playing collegiately, the Grammy Award winner is a diehard USC Trojans fan and has been involved with growing the game of football through his Snoop Youth Football League (SYFL) in Los Angeles, which, over the past decade, has given young boys and girls a positive environment to learn a number of different skills.

Somewhere, Randy Moss is smiling knowing that there’s now a football cleat that has straight cash, homey, plastered all over them.
