Sprint’s CEO Has Been Giving Away Free Pairs Of Yeezy Boosts To His Employees, Is A Total Bro

The CEO of Sprint, Marcelo Claure, is apparently in an exceedingly giving mood these days, as he has decided to give his various teams of employees and members of the sales force free pairs of adidas Yeezy Boosts.

Motivation, anyone? Or maybe the goals have already been delivered, hence the special, not-so-inexpensive gift. And yes, that sound you just heard was every sneakerhead in the galaxy leaping off the couch to go apply for a job at Sprint.

As Complex notes, back in January Claure tweeted “Great team in 100 Andover Park West in Tukwila. If they reach the number I am sending them some Yeezy.”

Of course, with such a nice gesture is quickly followed by a few morons, because customers have even hit up Claure for a taste of the Yeezys.

Say all you want about what a waste of money this conceivably appears to be, it’s a brilliant PR move for Sprint. The dude knows what he’s doing.

Having said all that, unless you’re feeling a little motivated and plan on throwing these things immediately back online to make an obscene buck or two, I’m not sure how thrilled I would be to see these things sitting on my desk. But hey, to each his own, bro.

Additionally, this is in no way awkward at all.

A for effort, F- for execution.
