Boston-Based BroBible Freelancer Selling ‘We Are Boston’ Shirts to Raise Money for Victim’s Family

I've obviously always been affected by everything that's happened in this country, from 9/11 to the Newtown shooting, and everything in between. But this is the closest it's ever hit to home. My Facebook feed was filled with pictures from the scene of the bombing, not posted by news sites, but from the cell phones of people I've known my whole life who were there. For lack of a better word, it's shocking, and it's really hard to just sit here at my desk not doing anything about it.

So here's what I decided to do.

www.WeAreBostonShirts.com

I designed these shirts, and will be selling them at $25 a piece and 100% of the proceeds will be going to the family of Martin Richard, the 8-year-old boy from Dorchester who lost his life in the bombings.

Be sure to provide your shipping address when you make the purchase, as I will be shipping these out by hand. Hopefully I will get everyone their shirts by mid May.

For anyone who doesn't want a shirt but still wants to donate, you can PayPal it to WeAreBostonShirts@gmail.com

There's a lot to be said about this tragedy, but I'm going to leave it to the pros rather than ramble with my opinions. Just wanted to get this out there for anyone who wants to contribute. Quick shout out to John Aguilar at Pound4Pound Printing for doing the shirts at an unbelievable rate (basically working for free) so that we could raise more money. Also, to the RI Web Gurus and Jay DeLuca for helping put the site together. And most of all, to JCamm for letting me come on here and promote this.

Thanks for taking the time to read/share/donate. Much love from Boston.
