Charlize Theron Looks Super Hot For ‘GQ’ Then Complains That Being Super Hot Is A Burden

I have to admit, I do like watching Charlize Theron when she’s in a movie. She’s a pretty good actor and obviously very easy on the eyes. She just always seems to come off a bit, how shall I put this, out of touch when I see her off the movie screen. Like she thinks that her farts don’t smell or something. Of course I could be wrong, I don’t know her personally, but that’s just the feeling I get when I see her outside of acting.

This latest interview she did for British GQ isn’t doing much to change my perception of her either. Sure, there are the requisite sexy as f*ck photos to help promote her new movie The Huntsman, but then she starts talking all sorts of gibberish that only serves to reinforce what my opinion already was of her.

Ready to break out the world’s smallest violin? Because here’s what Charlize had to say…

“Jobs with real gravitas go to people that are physically right for them and that’s the end of the story. How many roles are out there for the gorgeous, f***ing, gown-wearing eight-foot model? When meaty roles come through, I’ve been in the room and pretty people get turned away first.”

So she’s saying that being, as she refers to herself, a “gorgeous, f***ing, gown-wearing eight-foot model” is a real pain in the ass in Hollywood? (A very modest description, by the way.) I’m not quite sure what she’s getting at here because last time I checked some very well-decorated actresses such as Jennifer Lawrence, Julia Roberts, Cate Blanchett and Julianne Moore aren’t exactly ugly ducklings.

“We live in a society where women wilt and men age like fine wine. And, for a long time, women accepted it. We were waiting for society to change, but now we’re taking leadership. It would be a lie to say there is less worry for women as they get older than there is for men… It feels there’s this unrealistic standard of what a woman is supposed to look like when she’s over 40.”

Charlize Theron turns 41 this year, which by the looks of the accompanying photo shoot pretty much makes HER the unrealistic standard for women over 40.

But hey, I get it, it must be brutal to have to go around trying to earn a living in Hollywood when you look like this…

How does she ever cope? Perhaps someone should put in a call to the waahmbulance.
