Despite being a grown man I’ve never been in a fist fight, and hopefully never will. My arms resemble spaghetti and my legs have been called “pencils” more times than I can count, so if there ever comes a day where I have to defend myself or get the shit beat outta me chances are that I’m going to need a clean pair of pants.

However, that’s not the case of 20-year-old Paige VanZant who, despite coming in at 5’4″ and only 115 lbs., just beat the snot out of Kailin Curran in her UFC debut this past Saturday. Who’s Kailin Curran? Don’t know don’t care, because VanZant won three-to-zero with a third-round total knockout.

According to VanZant via the Daily Mail,

‘When I started training to fight, it was more out of boredom than anything,’ said Paige, who has earned the nickname 12 Gauge in the fighting world.

‘I was looking for more things to do. I started with boxing, and my coaches told me I had a lot of potential, and that I should consider making it a career. I was like, “Whatever.”

‘I was just 15 at the time, and I never imagined something like that. When I turned 18, they asked if I would take a fight and I said, “Yeah,”‘ she recalled.

‘I won it and all of the sudden, there was all this interest and all these opportunities.
‘I had just one amateur fight, then my coach got a call for a pro fight for me.

I thought about it and said, “If I’d fight anyway, I might as well get paid for it.”‘

And just like that, Paige began her journey to beating to snot out of people professionally. This past Saturday’s fight not only won the “Fight of the Night” honor, but came with a $50,000 bonus.

So she’s got a blossoming career, can beat the shit out of you, and is also really, really hot. I think I’ve found my dream girl.
