Miss USA 2015 Olivia Jordan Is Also A 2018 SI Swimsuit Finalist, A Really Good Finalist

by 4 months ago

As I mentioned earlier, there are several women who have made it to the Final 15 of the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue model search for 2018 which ties to famous people. You’ve got Haley Kalil, wife of Panthers lineman Matt Kalil. You’ve got Camille Kostek, the kinda, sorta girlfriend of one Rob Gronkowski. And you’ve got Jasmyn Wilkins, daughter of former NBA player Gerald and niece of NBA Hall of Famer Dominique.

One finalist though is actually known for something other than being related to or dating someone famous and that would be Olivia Jordan – a woman we have covered here many, many times before. That’s because Jordan was not only once name Miss Oklahoma, she also went on to win the whole shebang and became Miss USA 2015.

So to say that we are big fans of hers and hope that she ends up qualifying for the 2018 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue would be an understatement.

Here’s a little sampling of the reasons why (a) we’re big fans and (b) she’s made into the Top 15 of this years SI Swimsuit model search…

It was all a dream.✨✨✨ #swimweek w/ @si_swimsuit #siswimsuit #siswim #siswimsearch #repost @wsouthbeach

I've been chasing big dreams for the past 6 years with my whole heart. Before that, I didn't have the confidence to go after what I wanted most.😌 But now I know that we all deserve the very best in life. We deserve to be surrounded by all the joy and love and magic that this life has to offer. I am worthy just as we all are worthy.πŸ™ŒπŸΌ This knowledge doesn't make my fears go away. Settling often sounds like an easier path, resting on my past success and saying that it's enough- even though my heart knows I have so much more to accomplish on this earth.πŸ’— So I must push forward, which means I have to reach higher and try for opportunities that are bigger than big. And through the years I have known all too well what it feels like to hear no, to be told I wasn't good enough, that I was too old, too tall, too fat, or too thin, and a myriad of other reasons why I just wasn't right for something.πŸƒ But my fear of failure will not win, I will not let the "no's" get me down, I will not stop pressing on as I know there is always another chance at "YES" right around that corner. I will continue to prove to myself what I already know- that I am capable, we all are capable…and oh so deserving of our hearts true desires.❀️ Sending love and light out to you all as I continue my journey to become the next #SISwim model with 14 other deserving hopefuls. I am so grateful for this unbelievable opportunity to chase my dreams and hope that you all are inspired to keep chasing yours.πŸ™πŸΌ Thank you @mj_day @darciebaum and the entire @si_swimsuit team. Let's go take Miami by storm!!!πŸ’ƒπŸΌπŸ’ƒπŸΌπŸ’ƒπŸΌ #dreambig #sportsillustrated #siswimsearch #goals #top15 #miami #bound #miamiswimweek #swimweek2017 #swimmiami #grateful #image @meganeclaire #swimwear @lulifamaswimwear
