Happy National Pig Day! Yes, this is one of the many holidays you never knew existed, and after reading this you may wish this one was still unknown. We all know bacon is the best part of a pig, but as was the custom of our ancient ancestors, no part goes unused. This is bad news for the vegetarians and Babe lovers of the world.

This list is the result of a UK writer, Christein Meindertsma, who in 2009 tracked a single pig to all of it’s many final products. There were 185 in total, so these 40 only begins to scratch the surface. It gives a clear picture of just how awesome pigs are though. Where would we be without tambourines?
