Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt launch new wine

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are making the most out of their vineyard estate with the release of a new wine, Miraval Rosé. You’ll never wear a beard as well as Brad Pitt, but at least you can drink like him when it’s time to class things up.

Brad Pitt is notorious for throwing back beers, but when you have a 1200-acre vineyard in Provence, you might as well do something with it. Jolie and Pitt aren’t their just stomping grapes and filling “My First Barrel” kits either. They have 100,000 (150,000 according to some) bottles of Mirival Rosé ready to go. At $136 per six pack, that’s a decent chunk of change. I wish my apartment could generate revenue like that.

Just 6000 bottles will be sold today, only to those with French shipping addresses, so now’s the time to invest in that little cottage in Nice that you’ve always talked about wanting. If you’re not ready to make that ridiculous investment, the wine will eventually be sold to restaurants and wine shops across the world.

The wine is made from a blend of organically grown Grenache, Syrah and Cinsault, with the back label stating: “‘Bottled by Jolie-Pitt et Perrin”.

Wine critic Thierry Desseauve described the wine as boasting “energy and dynamism, with persistence and freshness” due to its “expressive fruit”.
