Bacardi gets packaging upgrade from student

Villa-Dean

Bacardi posed a challenge to create a reason to try their product again. One student developed a new series of bat-based bottles that serve as top-notch marketing and packaging in one.

The challenge was issued to YCN (You Can Now), and Jhade Villa Dean knocked it out of the park. His set of three bottles is based around the social circle of 18-24 year old guys. Every group has a wingman, a joker, and a loudmouth, each of which is brought into focus with a simple but excellent bottle image. If I didn’t know this was for the YCN Awards, I would have completely believed that this was actual new packaging. It’s creative. It’s professional, and it definitely something that I could see Bacardi doing. As the team joker, I think I deserve my own bottle, so make it happen, Bacardi.
